I am an outside painter...I paint outdoors in oils, broad brush and pallet knives on cotton hand-made canvas 3mm MDF panels.

When at my folding box easel I paint what I see as well as feel, at the easel I paint from the arm and shoulder, blocking in colour and moving loaded brushes and knives around. The outside is the exciting free expression part, in my indoor studio I am a corrections painter, usually 10% on average, which requires tweaking with a more controlled wristy and finger correcting technique.
